Big pixel blocky shadows on AOC Agon GSync monitor

I have an AOC AGON 24" GSync monitor (AG241QG) and any time there is dark shadows i see large pixels, very blocky. Confirmed it does not happen when i connect my old 1080p LG 32" TV.

I have played around with settings even setting let NVidia GTX 1070 decide everything and the best I can do is drop brightness to 0 and it makes them less visible...I also tried DP and HDMI cables, as well as dropped resolution to 1080p

Super annoyed that my $500 2k monitor is outperformed by a 5 year old TV.

Any suggestions on what settings I can look at? I'm hoping it is a setting and not some limitation

Game Color 100
Gamma 3
Overdrive Medium

Low Blue Light 0
Color Temp Warm

Hi,

I have same problem. I have the same monitor (AG241QG) and 1050Ti. I have ugly big pixels during the static scenes with a lot of black and black shadows. For example logon screen win10. (cave picture - left side) or dota 2 default loading screen (around the Dota 2 symbol - cubes without smooth color transition. Any suggestions what can cause this issue? I have a model which was made in February 2018.
