BIG problem can open anything except video games

I have a very weird problem, I can open any executable file on a PC except for video games and apps related to video games. I can open my browser, my image burner, my movie converter and everything else. But once I open videogame exes I got from discs or the razor game booster or steam they don't work I click, double click, run as admin yet nothing happens only the blue circle shows up for a bit and then disappears. Only one game manages to open up yet it closes after 2 seconds every time. What's wrong with my computer???

Uhh, list your system specs.
Or go to start > Run/Search > Dxdiag.exe
and then paste all the stuff from the system info here.

You say you can't even open exe files from disks... does that mean you can't even open installers? In that case, I doubt it has anything to do with meeting minimum requirements.
