Big problem with my pc

I have a very big problem with my PC. All games that I run on my PC have very bad fps or just have huge fps drops or the hole game just crashes. For example on GTA v I have everything on the lowest setting and I get around the 30 fps (with and without crossfire) my GPU usage is always under the 60% (crossfire disabled or enabled) but with valley bench mark my both my GPUs does get used 80 to 100%.

My specs:

CPU: amd fx 6300 (no oc)
GPU: crossfire sapphire r9 280x dual-x (no oc)
Mobo: asrock 970 xtreme 4
PSU: xfx 850w
Ram: 8gb corsair vengeance ddr3

That fx6300 is going to struggle to drive 280x in crossfire I think. That's why fps is low still at low settings.

I'm.just guessing.

So if I get a i5 6600k its better? Because I already planned to buy that cpu
