Just quick post to say thanks to all those that have helped me choose and get built my 1st proper gaming rig.

I5 2500k @ 4.5
asus p8z68 v mobo
corsair vengance @1600mhz
corsair tx750 psu
2 gigabyte gtx 460 1gb in sli
corsair 600 graphite 600se case

really appreciate all the help from the community, and am overjoyed at what this machine can do.

Let us know how those 460's do in SLI. I plan on doing that in about 3 weeks.

i did have worrys initially about sli as always just used one card rigs, but sli 460's are as i was recommended by toms hardware community, is amazing.
i can play bf3, crysis2, witcher2, all at 1920x1080 with all bells and whistles turned on, except witcher killer mode,lol.
really recommend 460's in sli you will not be dissapointed.

i run all settings at high with few ultra, have not measured fps yet, not installed fraps yet, but runs beautifully with no slow downs or problems.
will give better feedback on fps, just been to busy fragging, lol
