Please read whole thread really need help!!! I just got a new hard drive had to install windows on it and I downloaded all my things back. The next day I wanted to update windows and there were updates that downloaded. It asked me to restart and I restarded it. It didn't restart like it would when there's an update it restarted like restarting everyday. I went to windows update and this message came up: Some update files are missing or have problems. We’ll try to download the update again later.

Error code: (0x80073712)

I then checked this on cmd with the command 'sfc/scannow' and said Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. I researched this a lot and I cleared all the updates and the update cache and restarted. (I did disable the services you have to disable prior to doing this and re-enabled them at the end). I then checked for the error history in computer management and it showed a lot of errors. Now when I check for updates the same error message keeps coming up. Is there something wrong with my hard drive drive what should i do???

Hi, there was a restore point I flashed back to it but the problem was still there Idk why

And how is one to know that you did ?.... or if you did ? You downloaded the utility ? and ran it ? When you downloaded ran the utility what did it say when it completed ? Since you did not provide any such information, there is no way to advise you as to what steps to take next.
