Bigger The Storage...

Hello! So I purchased a 1TB HDD the other day to replace my current 50GB hdd. So it made me think, if they're increasing the storage it can hold, how are they still keeping the phsyical dimensions the same?

Some drives use 2-3-or 4 platters instead of one!

and each platter holds more data, higher density for sectors. and they start to make the drives smaller (2.5" instead of 3.5")
