[SOLVED] Biggest gaming gains?

So my current setup is...

Intel i7 8700k
EVGA 1080 ti
32GB RAM at 3200mhz

so without changing out my mother board which would net me the most noticable gains switching to a i9 9900k, or an EVGA 2080 Super? Both will cost me around the same price tag, not looking to destroy my bank account.

Well, a 2080Ti then.
But that gpu is a bad idea this late, what with RTX 3000 coming at the end of the year...
I guess you could sell it later and try to recover some of your money..?

You will certainly be gpu limited at that 3x 1080p resolution. A Cpu upgrade wont help.

30 fps still sounds pretty terrible for a 1080ti. I would take a look at your settings and see if you cant disable some ressource hogs among them like shadows on ultra and supersampling.
Or you could make a switch to one 1440p ultrawide monitor.
