There is nothing wrong with a Dell IF they supply an OS install CD. Not an
image copy or restore CD but a real OS install CD that one can clean install
with. Who does and who doesn't changes with time and is different by model.
Always ask and confirm and if it's not part of the deal then don't make the
deal. Some salesmen will play symantic games and try and claim a recovery
CD is an OS install CD; it is NOT. Badger em until you get a straight
answer and better is to get it in writing.
If you want a TabletPC then you are SOL as NONE come with an OS install CD.
You can point the big nasty finger at MS for that one.
