I hope he jumps the border and gives me some cash...

In all seriousness though people that rich make me mad when there are people starving even in their own countries... also if you look at it they most likely are not the "richest" alot of people (CEO's) use their business to write off all of their stuff as expense aka the companies money is theirs so they dont get too much notice on how much cash they have

Clue: for a 2Mb connection we pay (TELMEX-Slim) 600 pesos (48 USD) per month. The fastets connection Carlos Slim offer is 5Mb for 80 USD.

Ah, and TELMEX is the only real Internet company in Mexico (real= is available out of the principal cities).

I guess your forgetting the Bill Gates foundation as well as the $37 Billion Warren Buffet gave to that foundation?

Every ordinary Americans net loss doubled in last year
but these people managed to increase theirs.

Ordinary people, invest where they invest if you have anything left to invest.

He may not be richest but I do not know of anyone else with that amount of cash who has given so much back to the world. Bill Gates Foundation does amazing things.

Well it's nice to know that Mexicans aren't getting overcharged for telecomunication while most of them live in poverty... Oh, wait...

Isn't there a point where too much is too much? I would be happy for $20 million and work at my own leisure and try to live as much as possible. Travel the world for 5+ years then invest in a nice comortable and managable house. Have a family while hiding from the kids your millions (act middle-class and just keep the million sitting in the bank accrueding interest). Spend a good amount of time with the children. Then on their 21st birthday, introduce them to your mansion and your array of expensive cars. Then kick them out of home.

There is a point of diminishing returns with everything including money...

Think about it. If you were that rich, are you going to do that?
No way. If I was a billionaire, I'd still squeeze every penny.

Or if you were one of the 70% of the rest of the World, you'd be happy with $2/day - or a little clean water to drink instead of parasite infested pond water as your only source of drinking water. My hats off to Bill Gates, in my eyes, he IS the richest man in the World because he uses his wealth to do miracles each and every day.

One of those things is a tax deduction for Bill Gates and his associates.
