I keep getting this Bing notice, where Microsoft keeps asking me to change my default search from Google back to Bing (ain't gonna happen...ever).

Been researching how to disable it, but everything I come across says the methods previously used have been removed in recent updates.

Anyone have a current fix for this on the Windows 11 and the latest version of Edge?

Right click the small bell icon likely located in the lower right screen corner.

Then select notification settings.

In the apps list scroll down to Microsoft Edge. Check the settings there.

Thanks for the help. I actually tried Winaero, and that seemed to have the options I was looking for (for anyone wondering that might find this later). Thanks for the help!

Solution:

Registry key found here, for anyone looking for this later:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\shell

As a general matter of caution, Registry entries should be a last resort and attempted only after a full system backup including the Registry itself.,

It is good that the edit worked.

Caveat being that some future Windows change or update may conflict with the edited key.
