Question BIOS changelog says I should update but I have not problems

A320M-HDV R4.0
BIOS 1.00
ATHLON 200GE

According to the changelog of the BIOS 2.00 it includes "1. Support new Athlon 2xxGE series APU. "
Currently my APU is working fine as far as I can tell. Both CPU and GPU (latest drivers installed "AMD all in 1 with VGA driver ver:19.10.16_19H1_WHQL").

Can someone clarify the situation for me? Also could I just update to the latest BIOS?

Unless you have issues that are addressed in a specific bios update, then you don't need to update the bios. I looked at the cpu support list and Athlon 200GE can run with any bios: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A320M-HDV R4.0/index.asp#CPU

Thats my usual practice but what do they mean by "Support new Athlon 2xxGE series APU"? I am just baffled.
