Bios Checksum error Gateway 6800FX

I read all the posts from this site and flashed to latest bios, it is still forcing me to use f1 because of the checksum error after bios upgrade

go into the bios and set defaults

Try clearing the CMOS before you flash it. That's also the brute force way of setting all the defaults.
