BIOS Checksum error

When I start my PC this is what pops up

BIOS ROM checksum error
Detecting Floppy Drive A media...
Drive A error. System Halt


I don't have a Floppy Drive, the PC is an ACER Veriton M261. I have already reset the BIOS with the Jumper. I have tried a new known to work HDD from another Veriton M261.

Replace the CMOS battery, it's dead.

Keyboard and mouse plugged in. No floppy drive.

Should I try to clear the CMOS and flash the BIOS?

Make sure the floppy drive is disabled in the bios. This sounds like a motherboard failure. Were you updating the bios or something when it started? you can try reflashing the bios if needed, but it may be time for you to get a new computer.

Its the MoBo, i have done and tested everything. Unfortunately for no real reason that I can see the MOBO just fried itself. Thanks all for the help.

how can i do that if cant open it and still the checksum error place at the top what is the solution for this

Disable the error checking in your bios in startup. Even if the bios finds something missing, it will ignore it and will proceed to OS booting.
