[SOLVED] BIOS chip replacement GL553VE

So i tried ti update the bios from windows with and it asked me something about that tge file is too big for the bios. Anyway i pressed to continue,by mistake, and after restart the laptop powered on for 5 seconds then shut down. I cant power on, and the ac power suply led is off even if it is connected to the power suply.
now i think the bios chip is damaged i want to know if there is something else that i should check before i replace the bios chip and where is located the chip.

You flashed wrong main or ec bios, its possible to fix. This wont "kill" the chip you can reflash with a programmer.

What was the file exactly you tried to flash?

It is 8 legged SOIC chip, google bios chip pics, Then look on your mothebroard, if there is multiple chips send picture or check the model with maginfying glass. If its hard to see use isoprophyl alcohol on it , it will show the model number more clearn.
