Question Bios chip worked?

Is there anybody whose dell Inspiron got bricked and then replaced bios chip and that worked?
What are the cons of replacing the bios chip after mobo bricks?

Yeah. I logged into dell's official website and then looked for updates in which there was a BIOS update , installed it and followed instructions it went for a restart but couldn't bootup. Fans spin in a loop of a few seconds and beeps. Probably bios update failed, bios corrupted.
It's Dell Inspiron 620s 2011 model presently on 4gb ddr3.

i think your motherboard has a soldered bios chip. if you wanted to replace it, you would need to have a soldering iron. if you don't or think you would mess it up you should just get a new motherboard but if wanted to attempt it i found a bios chip on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/BIOS-CHIP-...m28113af39d:g:3-UAAOSwBPNXRv0i&frcectupt=true
