I have a BIOS beep code of four beeps, spaced out about 30 seconds or so. I encountered the problem when i installed a new graphics card. I'm running a ga-b75m-d3h mobo, i5 3470, evga 3gb gddr5, corsair hx 750. I've check gigabytes website and they say "4 short beep :Real Time Clock malfunction ." i checked this website to figure out how to solve the problem http:// they say to remove new components and start the computer if it starts normally then there is something wrong with the component. However thing i'm not understanding is that i'm still playing games i'm not having problems in my game play. i've been able to run everything on high and ultra. Could there be another possible source of the problem. Or can anyone explain why im able to play games if my GPU isnt functioning correctly. i have used http:// to check compatibility and i didnt have any problems either. Really need some help here cant find any answers.

Solution
I took the GPU out and it started normally so i launched to BIOS menu and then i checked my BIOS version f7 was its current version. so i downloaded the newest version f15 and q-flashed it. then i installed the GTX 780 again and it launched properly single beep. Thanks for the reply
Your PC still boots even with the beep code? And an RTC malfuction usually means that the bios battery is dieing/going dead. Pop a new bios battery in there and see if that solves the problem.

If you take the GPU out does the beeping go away?

Hey I'm having the same problem, same motherboard and everything, 4 beeps etc. Did you update your motherboard BIOS or your GPU BIOS?

hey man sorry i didnt see this sooner hahaha i really hope you got this figured out.but in case you didn't hahaha
i ended up having to update the MOB BIOS. I went to the website and downloaded the newest version and put it on a USB drive and then booted the computer into BIOS and installed it. Everything was fine after that.

Sorry for the late response, again lol. This problem has finally came around and I have to do something about it. I stil have the same problem as you, but after my 4 beeps, I cant get into the bios. Well, I can, but my monitor is just a lit up black with no cursor or anything. Where you able to get into the bios after the beep code originally?
