[SOLVED] BIOS configuration nesscersary? New motherboard, CPU and RAM.

Hi All,

Is there any configuration / Settings I should alter in BIOS in conjunction with a new Motherboard, CPU and RAM? or should I leave it default for the time being? Any assistance would appreciated! Thanks.

BIOS can usually be defaulted to start with. I recommend running MEMTEST86 for a few hours to check the stability of the hardware. Then you can do a clean OS install -- https://www.tomshardware.com/news/how-to-do-clean-installation-windows-10,36160.html

I've just gone ahead and done a clean OS install! what is mem test ... hopefully the comp is stable and compatible!

MEMTEST86 -- https://www.memtest86.com/ It is a standalone bootable program that doesn't require OS installation. It will test motherboard, CPU and RAM. It takes 4 - 8 hours to get a decent test.
