Blinking light sequence indicats corrupted bios. Hp laptop will not start and screen is dark. Laptop is hp pavilion dv6-6b27nr entertainment pc purchases in 11/2011

Solution
Try to open up the laptop and find a jumper near the bios,
Remove the jumper, or if it is a 2 pin jumper on 3 pins move it one spot and push the on button.

Now nothing will should and the bios should reset.
Then put the jumper back and it should work back to normal.

If there is no CMOS jumper to reset, try to find the BIOS BATTERY, and remove this and put the pc on wait 1 minute and put the battery back into place.

As worst as it seems, (Especially considering it's a laptop) this is probably a full motherboard replacement, you can't flash a corrupted bios from the actual computer. You have to take it out, and it would be pretty difficult on a laptop.
