Today I decided to replace my old 8Gb RAM stick (Crucial 3000mHz) with new ones: 2x 8Gb (Corsair 3200mHz) (dual channel) . I then placed the old RAM stick in an empty channel 1 slot, making the total memory 24Gb. when I powered my PC and greeted with a bios screen saying devices changed; and I could setup configuration or continue with current values. I decided to setup configuration to check if if the sticks were detected, everything looked normal so I quit without saving. my pc then restarted itself and tried to boot but now it froze.
what did I do wrong? how can get my PC to boot again?
