BIOS does not detect lowest PCI slot

This is my third computer build , I somewhat know what I'm doing but my BIOS is not detecting my lowest PCI slot. I've attached some pictures, if anyone knows how to fix this it would be appreciated. Not sure what the point of a PCI slot on the motherboard is if it is not available.

Make an account here. https://imgur.com/ There are also other sites that you can post pics on for free. Then either creat a link to the pics, or post them using the "img" bracketed links that are provided by the image hosting site. Whichever one you choose to use.
Also, you don't need pictures to share your computer specs. The ones that would be most important, would be the motherboard make and model. along with any peripherals you have attached to the motherboard.

X299 MSI Pro Gaming AC MOBO
I7-7740X processor
16gb corsair 4266mhz ram
EVGA 1200 P2 PSU
1 EVGA GTX 1070 in top PCI slot of the motherboard
2 of the same card on risers connected via the PCI 16x to 1x module in the #2 and #3 slots (all slots are 16x), I have one empty PCI-e after that and an M.2 PCI adaptor that is also empty.
The furtherest slot down, the 16x, is empty, but as the picture shows from the bios, it in not available.

I have two more graphics cards that I'm trying to connect, but anytime I add more than 3 total, windows crashes on start up.

That cpu can handle 3 video cards max

If you can return that cpu an i7 7820x might do the trick for you. It has 28 threads

Should have waited for threadripper. Even the low end 1900x has 64pci-e lanes.

Based on the mining-specific mainboards just hitting the market with 10 PCI-eX1 slots, I don't think lots of bandwidth to/from GPUs during mining is a concern....

It's be like slapping a current video card into a new hypothtical X32 lane slot..., or putting a conventional SATA3 SSD via an adapter into a PCI-e X4 slot....; no benefit.

This guy clearly does not know what he doing. If he did he would have waited for threadripper or maybe just bought a mining rig.

Kind of pisses me off. So many gamers having a hard time getting graphics cards at a retail prices because some people think they can get rich quick. Even though they join the crypto currency chase late.

Nothing like running up the electric bill to an extra $100 per month per system, and making $50 in mining!
