BIO's does not recognize sata DVD drives

Just built a new system ASUS z87-Expert/i7-4771. The system boots up fine it recognizes all installed memory and both WD Hard drives, keyboad and mouse but fails to recognize 1-ASUS DRW-24B1ST & 1- LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer. As a result I can't load an Operating System (which will be Win 7 Pro 64bit)

Can anyone help me with this??????

Do you have your optical drive plugged into the same controller as your WD hard drives? if you have an array sometimes you will need to plug in the optical drive to one of the marvell controller sata ports. If that doesn't work just try making sure everything is nice and snug and that you don't have your sata cable plugged into a port that isn't disabled by default. If that isn't the issue try holding down F12 and selecting the disk boot option
