Question Bios doesn't read my 970 Evo plus

Build:
Ryzen 7 3800x
X570 aorus pro wifi
Gskillz Ddr 4 3600
970 Evo plus 2tb (not reading)
970 Evo 500gb (working)
2080ti

The Evo plus is not being read by the bios and currently placed in the a slot which is supposed to support it. The bios was updated, and been trying to play around to get it to work but haven't had any luck. I'm not sure if I have a faulty m.2 since the slot was working with a different ssd that I had to return.

Just for the sake of relevance, which BIOS version are you currently on? You forgot to include the make and model of your PSU. Which slot do you have the 970 Evo Plus populating? Have you tried swapping places of both M.2 drives?

At work, but think it's f10 or something like that. The PSU is a supernova g3 850w....I'll try swapping it tonight when I'm at home

Bios doesn't detect NVME drives until the UEFI boot partition is created. Run Windows10 install and it should be detected there.

Windows 10 is installed on 500gb one but still not reading it

How did you install windows to it? It should be booting if its not being detected by the motherboard. The driver doesn't load into the bios until windows writes the boot partition.

Update just switched slots and the bios is still not reading it...

Windows is installed and boots from my other m.2
