Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a SanDisk Extreme SDSSDX-240G-G25 Sata III SSD. I set my bios to AHCI mode before attempting the windows installation process. I rebooted, and neither my SSD nor my Cd drive were appearing in the list of integrated peripherals. I swapped back to IDE and decided I'd use the post-installation fix to change over to AHCI. I have been unsuccessful.

Whenever I switch to AHCI and reboot, I'm given the message "No bootable devices found", and I can't locate them within the bios list either. I have no such issue in IDE.

My motherboard is a MSI 760GM-E51. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks in advance.

make sure the mb bios is at the top level lots of bug fixes for your mb
also On-Chip ATA Devices in the bios..ide busmaster mode..off. sata on and raid mode to achi.

Ok.

I checked MSI's website and my motherboard was one update behind. I used their Live utility and updated the BIOS version. I also made sure all the settings were as you recommended. Sadly, still no luck. Any other options I can try?

Try new SATA-cable with latch, experiment connecting different power cords from PSU to you SSD. I had such an issue with Crucial M4 and it solved my problems
Remove all other HDD's physically before istallaton of Windows7.
