BIOS DRAM Frequency change from "[AUTO]" to manually selecting the "[AUTO]" selected frequency won't boot

Thanks in advance for the help.

When I enter the bios settings (MSI ver E7A34AMS.1H0) and hit F6, then load optimized defaults, everything runs. I can fully boot without issues. The DDR speed chosen when selecting these defaults is 2133 MHz. If I manually set DRAM Frequency to 2133 MHz with no changes whatsoever, the computer fails to boot 5 times and then boots with the pre-adjusted settings (I don't actually know how this final boot works, but I think it's the standard process for when BIOS adjustments "fail").

I want to understand what is happening because my end goal is to get my DDR to 3200GHz, or as close to it as possible. Neither of the A-XMP profile options boot.
