Bios exiting and saving

I recently bought a new motherboard 6th Gen and when I click save and exit on the bios setup it restarts the computer and brings I right back to the bios.

You've not configured it correctly, its looking for a boot device, cant find one, so throwing you back into the bios to set one up.

set a boot device, What are you trying to boot off ?

Im not familiar with your bios or board, but my motherboard does the same thing, and you know all major components are working otherwise you wouldnt get into the bios.

Sometimes in the save and exit menu, theres a boot over ride, where you can click on the devices that have boot sectors on them that the motherboard found, a new motherboard requires a fresh install of windows though.

Put it this way, a new motherboard requires you to re-install windows, so if you have windows on a USB stick, you need to tell the bios to boot off that, if its on a CD/DVD then you need to tell the bios to boot off that etc etc,

Read the manual, it will tell you how to set boot device.

That because you've not put any boot devices in, Do you have a copy of Windows 10 on something, dont say your hard drive as that wont work, USB stick or DVD ?

Which motherboard by the way ?
