BIOS flash problem

Hey! I have a huge problem. I flashed my BIOS the other day and in the middle of it my nephew came and restarted my computer. Now just the fans start and the rest is dead. i really dont know what to do and it sucks so any help would be great. //erik

EDIT* The motherboard is a P965 NEO-F

RMA it back to MSI for replacement.

i dunno, reset the CMOS?
 
🙁 A couple of quick questions. Where you Flashing the BIOS within Windows or from a Floppy boot disk drive? In most cases the Flash program will ask if you want to save a copy of your old BIOS. That way you can return your BIOS back if the new one does not work. I suggest you contact the MB manufacture and see if you can re flash the BIOS using the floppy method with the new updated BIOS. You should beat your nephew. Repeatedly.

Many, many years ago (like in 1994) I flashed a BIOS... it was for an AMI and I flashed an Award BIOS onto the board (or was it the other way around?). Whoops. Won't do that again! It just beeped a continuous beep pattern after that... thank god it wasn't mine! I think all modern flashing applets do some sort of check to make sure you're flashing the right file, but no program can protect a computer from a PITA nephew with a death wish.
