Hi all.

My MSI R9 380 4GB card was "acting up".

I decided to flash bios to newer one. Used ATI Flash, when finished message came up, that it was successful, so I restart my PC and black screen!

Won't boot up, red led near GPU.

Already bought new card to replace that one ( GTX 1060 sc ), but would like to fix it as R9 380 was still a decent card...

I do have original bios.rom saved as back up, but can't flash it back.

When I connect it all it won't boot, like I said. When I leave card in pci-e but disconnect it via cable I CAN boot up with my on board graphics, but when I'm trying to use ATI Flash again I'm getting message that it can't see any ATI / AMD cards ?!

I'm stuck, every instructions I managed to find is very old, like from 2005, so links not working etc.

Does anyone knows what can I do?

Anyone with some details instructions?

Please help, thank you

I had a similar issue in another thread, here's what I did:
Managed to get it working. With the graphics card power connector disconnected (so I was able to boot into Windows), I opened up device manager, showed hidden devices, and uninstalled the RX 480 display adapter (and checked the box to uninstall driver software when prompted). After that, I was able to use ATIFlash to flash the BIOS successfully, and then reinstalled AMD drivers just to be safe.
I don't remember at what point I reconnected the power connectors unfortunately, I think it was after I uninstalled the display adaptor in device manager and rebooted.
