Bios flashing sony vaio tap 20

Hi I have a Sony vaio tap 20. I need to enable achi mode in order to install Mac os x with my Windows 8 installation. The option is not in my bios by default and I know I need to flash it. I know flashing is a tricky thing so I wanted to consult some help before doing so. Thanks.

you will have to find the newest version of the bios you are currently using, you can most likely find it on the manufactures site. after you have it put it on a boot able usb drive or cd and load it up through the bios screen

I know the bios company is american megatrends inc. Opening the computer is unfortunately not an option and running the cmd command to find the version and/or the motherboard name only merits me with the sony brand name because they blocked it all. Does anyone at all know what motherboard the sony vaio tap 20 is running? also what bios it is running?
