I have this issue where sometimes on startup, my computer freezes at the BIOS screen and will take over 20 minutes to unfreeze and proceed with booting up.

However, a quick restart when it happens, my PC boots up in normal time which is about 10 seconds, I'm running on an SSD and recently had a watchdog violation crash. Anything I can do to fix these?

16 GB Ram
GTX 1080
i7 4790k
Ranger series motherboard (forget specific, can get it)
Windows 10 Pro

Solution
After or before updating the BIOS you could also do a CMOS reset. Also this issue could be caused by a bad USB device, so remove them all. Boot up your PC and check if that issue got fixed. If it does you have to test all your USB devices one at a time and find the one responsible. Finally an SSD, HDD or optical drive could also cause a similar issue, so disconnect all the drives and follow the same procedure you did with the USB devices.

As for the watchdog crash, it could be a lot of things.
1)Game bug.
2)Driver issue.
3)Corrupted game files.

Update the game and the drivers, check your SSD for errors and finally reinstall the game. It goes without saying that your game should not be a pirated version. If it is, I'm afraid I can't...
