BIOS has no storage drives.

Hello all,

I'm in a bind as I swapped cases the other day to a new mid tower, but I can't get past BIOs now as it doesn't detect any storage drives but randomly only sees the optical drive.

I run the OS (windows 10) to come up on an SSD; an NVMe for games; and 2 HDD in raid 1 for storage and a backup OS boot. The system sees none of this for a boot priority however if I go into the advanced menu of my BIOS is shows the drives so I know it's reading they are there.

I have made sure all SATA cables were ported the same as the previous case and even swapped cables around to make sure it isn't a bad cable. As I see them in one part of BIOs I'm assuming they are getting power just fine. I've done a CMOs flash and have tried booting legacy and UEFI.

Help!

Thanks.

1| Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard.
2| Try and breadboard the system with only the SSD connected to the system. This should rule out any grounding issues in your chassis, if any.

When posting a troubleshooting thread, it's customary to include your full system's specs. List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis: (old and new)

The computer ran same day before the chassis change so I'm not sure about BIOs update but I'll try. Also I'll give it a shot pulling the other SATAs so it's SSD only.

My appologizes, I ment to type the specs but been in a rush all day.
