BIOS help please..

Ok, so I built my gaming PC today and I have it all hooked up, monitor and all. At first BIOS would't recognise my HDD, yet I soon figured out the SATA cable was slightly loose, so I fixed that. My problem now is, having only inserted the windows 8.1 disk and turned on the PC, my HDD is now recognised but will not boot, can anybody enlighten me please?

I'm using an Asus Z97-A mobo, intel i5 4690k, seagate barracuda 1tb, antec hcg 620w.

You have to set the Blu ray drive on top of the boot sequence in BIOS !
