Hi guys im having trouble uograding my bios. I made a bootable flash drive, extraced all the files to my usb, etc. When i try the qflash method it says the utility is outdated. When i try the efiflash way it says it cant read the file. Can someone point me in the right direction please.(P.S. I have the right motherboard files)

Solution
You need the file that says 2A88XD3H.F7

Put it on the route of the flash drive. on it`s own.

Enter the bios and go to the bios update options update bios.
point it to the file on your flash drive and select it.

If it fails to work rename the extension of .F7 to .Bin

Begin flashing.
well, a file being outdated means that your mother board is up to date.
cant read the file mean you might have the file for wrong Hardware Division for example P41-DTP has rev 1.6 ,1.4 and 1.8 so motherboard cannot read the BIOS update from another division.
the flash drive should be small (8 GB is good, big flash drives cannot be assign in boot) and should be formated in FAT32 (not exFAT) it's better to be empty (just the BIOS updates) that's all.
make sure you did the things above and report!

I have the latest motherboard files and did all the other stuff 🙁

The file it`s self you put on the route of your flash drive when trying to update the bios via the bios menu flashing options needs to be a .bin file.

Check to see if the file is not compressed using winzip, or winrar.
If it is, unpack the file or archive first, that will give you the .bin file.

xxxxxxF7.bin

Then place the single file on the route of the flash drive.

Just checked the file is zipped. .zip

Ahh i just extracted all the files, what would be an example of .bin file? Also when i go to update the bios it makes me select a specific file.
