Bios help Please!

I really need some help, I think I may have screwed up my computer, i just installed my bios update, and now my gateway pc says it doesnt detect any drives, I go into the bios by hitting Delete, and it shows the drives, I tried repairing windows by putting the disk in for windows, and it still shows the error, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

first of all...u said that it shows in bios...check the boot device priority there and set it correctly to ur windows boot drive...
if u r able to load windows, then ur boot drive is already detected...now check whether the additional drives are visible in device manager and disk management...

It won't boot windows it gives me this error, Error: disk drive not detected, or has failed, i changed the device priority, and nothing...

then u need to test the drive on another pc to check whether the the issue follows the device...

Let me correct myself a little sorry, it shows that is connected in the advanced tab of the bios, it shows nothing in any of the drive priority areas in the boot options

the fact that it shows connected means the drive is still mechanically functional...
is the priority area blank or showing something else???

disable secure boot and enable csm in the bios?
