Question BIOS id check error is driving me insane

I’m building a new pc and can’t get my graphics card to detect, so I’m trying to update the BIOS. I’ve double checked multiple times that I have the right files for the right motherboard and every time I try to update the BIOS I get hit with the “BIOS id check error”. I honestly don’t know what to do and just want this to work.

System specs:
Cpu: intel 13900k
Ram: corsair vengence 64gb 5000mhz
Mobo: gigabyte z790 aorus elite ax
Gpu: msi rtx 4090 gaming trio 24gb
Psu: corsair hx1200

there is 2 revision. 1.0 and 1.1
