Hello, I’m new to pc building and I have majority of the parts I need except for the graphics card. The cpu I decided to get is a AMD RYZEN 5 2600 and the motherboard I decided to get is a MSI B350 mortar motherboard. From my research, this motherboard will support my cpu but I will need a BIOS update. I have a usb drive to install it from but the question I have is will I need to install a different cpu in order to update the bios or can I just install the new cpu that I have and update the bios from the usb??? Thanks.
