I have all of my monitors plugged into my RX580 on the PCIEX16_2 slot, but the Bios screen doesnt show when i boot up. If i plug a monitor onto the GTX 970 on the PCIE8_1 Slot, it shows up. I tried to change the boot gpu in BIOS, but it will not display. I'm using a GIGABYTE X79-XP4.

Why do you and a 970 and 580 in there at the same time? Do you mean the BIOS doesn't display with the 580 and it just goes straight to Windows, or that you get no video at all?

I'm guessing there's a BIOS setting for a default PCIe slot to look for a display adaptor in. Change that to whatever slot the 580 is in. Or just take out the 970.
