Hi all,

I have just recently updated my bios on my G1 Assassin 2 mobo to F7 bios and weird thing is it restarted and got to the CMOS checksum page where it asks you to reset to defaults but I have no USB function, power to usb is there (light on mouse keyboard) but not working, I just need to hit enter ffs it's really stressful. I have tried all usb ports and nothing even tried seperate USB card and same deal. My wife is picking me up a PS/2 keyboard atm and though to try that?
Can anyone please help or suggest?

Many thanks,
Jason

Just an update, the PS/2 keyboard worked woohoo.. But still my usb keyboard is not responding on post screen. Was fine unit F7 Bios. C'mon Gigabyte get your act together, i've had nothing but issues with this board.

First look in the bios set up and be sure the usb hub device is turned on and legacy support enabled. Then in windows check device manager to see if any usb devices have ! or ? marks next to them. If there are any problems in device manager try uninstalling the device and restarting windows to see if it clears.

Thanks for reply DogSnake,
Yep both are enabled i bios, and no missing drivers in device manager..
Wierd one, believe it is the version as was working fine before F7. Have written Gigabyte a support call.
