Hi all,

Since a few days, everytime I boot up my Desktop PC, it takes about 5 minutes to get past the BIOS screen.

Once the PC is started, it's fully functional and I have no troubles at all!

BIOS version: 1302
Motherboard: ASUS P8H67-M PRO

I hope I gave you enough information.

Edit: Also I cannot enter BIOS at all!

Solution
usually that happens when there is a hardware the system has a problem identifying.

do you have any USB devices like external HDD or USB sticks connected?

do you have more than one internal drive?

Hi, thank you for replying.

I have tried booting with no USB devices attached, however, I do have 2 internat drives connected to the motherboard.
I think what you're trying to say is I should try booting with no USB devices/drives and just the internal drive with my OS on?

I will report back with a result!

EDIT: I did some tests, and apparantly it is my keyboard that is causing the problem. I am using a Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 keyboard which is a fairly heavy keyboard I suppose. I will try to figure out how to solve this myself now. Thanks!
