Question BIOS Locked Lenovo Thinkpad

Hello, I have this Lenovo 3580 Thinkpad that is BIOS locked and I don't know the password. I have tried disconnecting the battery and CMOS battery overnight, but still can't seem to get past the BIOS lock. Is it worth replacing the CMOS battery or taking it to a shop to reflash the BIOS chip? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

What do you mean the BIOS is locked? You can't log on to the OS?
Nobody will help you. The laptop could of been stolen.
So... Please explain yourself.
