I cannot get my P8P67 8Gig system WN& PRO to boot into Bios using the DELETE key [Standard method]. I have tried booting into SAFE mode F2 but that fails too. Suggestions

Even if you still have nothing displaying on the screen, as soon as you turn on the PC you can start hitting the "delete" key repeatedly. As suggested by others, certain BIOS will prefer that you hold the key instead. I don't know if you tried that too?

Some BIOS screens will display for only a few seconds, so you might only have a few seconds to hit the key. And some monitors have long delays before they detect the signal and start displaying something, so you might not even see the BIOS screen on some models before the monitor finally turns on it will already be loading Windows. This is why I was suggesting to start pressing the key before you actually see something on the monitor.

I have tried rapid tapping, holding down. I have two boot screens on the system showing the same stuff. At the bottom for 2-4 seconds it says to push on the Delete Key. I my Users Guide it suggests after Post to use Cnt/Alt/Del as a secondary method. I tried using F2 ?? to load into Win7 Safe mode, Also tried F8
Other suggestons?

Before anything shows up, before the screen that displays for 2-4 seconds, hold down delete. Do this RIGHT after you press the power button. 🙂

Okay. Might have discovered the issue..My wireless keyboard is showing a 'power disconnect' right after each log on screen. I have used a wireless keyboard for a long time, but it maybe a keyboard issue [simple if proven]. will order in a new wired keyboard [need a new one anyway as I have worn out the key letters on 50% of the keys...Plus my favorite Shift key location [left hand side] is now malfunctioning-not letting me use the Upper Case when I want so I am left with using the Left Shift to type with {hard for those of use who have been typing the standard way for [years]..You can look at my profile for the age. I will report back on the solution...Thanks to all for their suggestions.
