I have an Acer Aspire 1300 that I installed a Linux distro on. I wanted to dual boot another OS and went to BIOS to select the optical drive to boot from. I did this when I installed Linux from a thumb drive. Then I selected USB to boot from.

Now when I go into BIOS there is not optical drive, or USB, option to boot from. There are only two options, one is the HD, the other says something about index cards.

So what happened to the other boot options and how can I get them back. Thanks.

When I go into BIOS to boot options there is no option to boot from an optical drive or USB. The options were in boot options when I installed Linux because I selected USB to install Linux from a thumb drive. Then when I went into boot options to select the optical drive to dual boot Windows, there was no boot option for either the optical drive or USB. I was asking what happened and how to get these boot options back. Thanks.
