Bios Mod For İntel Cpu ?

Is İntel core i3 4160 need to bios mod ?
How can i do when purchasing or after it ?
My motherboard is asus h81m-c
i dont know nothing at all about the bios sorry need to help

Yes, a BIOS update is needed. Is there a processor installed on your board?
What are the last 4 digits on a sticker like

If you know nothing about it.. and you don't have a problem.. leave it a alone.
If you want know... google it.. then decide if you want to mess around.

the asus motherboard will support the 4160 as long as the motherboard has a bios revision of 2001 or newer.

if the motherboard does not have a revision 2001 or newer bios you will not be able to use the 4160. you should check with the place you are purchasing the asus motherboard from to see if they know the manufacture date of the motherboard.
