[SOLVED] Bios (MSI B350 PC Mate)

Can you flash your bios to the latest version through a USB programmer? I asked Newegg's eBay account and I asked if they ship them out with the latest bios and they said ask the manufacturer (i.e. MSI) and I don't know if it supports ryzen CPUs out of the box (checked bios updates on MSI's website and it wasn't clear if it supports ryzen's out of the box) and I don't want to buy a Athlon 200GE just to flash the bios. I'm pretty sure you can do this but I just want a second opinion.

Yes, if you install the new BIOS inside the pendrive you can upgrade it with without getting and older MOBO.

Nevertheless, you'll probably don't need to since that mobo is very likely to support your Ryzen CPU.

Go in this site: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-PC-MATE#
Then, on the left, click in 'Compatibility', go through the list and see, on the 'CPU No' column, if your CPU is there and if it really needs a BIOS update.
