BIOS not detecting Samsung EVO 860 SSD

I just purchases a Samsung EVO 860 SSD to replace my current Seagate HDD. I have my Windows 10 Trial version ready to boot on my USB. So my next step was to remove the SATA cable and such from the HDD and I plugged them into my SSD. I decided to then boot my PC and head into the BIOS. Once I had reached the BIOS, I wanted to prioritize the USB and the SSD. But I noticed my SSD wasn't detected . I'm currently using an MSI B150 M3 Gaming Motherboard. Does anyone understand why this is happening? Any help will be much appreciated.

The SSD might be defective. Check again the cable connections, both ends. Check also if SSD detected in Windows install. If still negative, I would return the SSD, to be replaced.
