Plannning on overclocking my i7 8700k.
My motherboard is a ASUS PRIME Z390-A

When overclocking, do I disable or enable intel speed shift technology?

Also, is "Turbo Mode" basically just what ASUS calls turbo boost?

Thanks

Solution
Speedstep increases or decreases CPU frequency based on the usage load. So when it's idle it saves power by decreasing the frequency and when under full load it determines an efficient power to frequency ratio jump. I would recommend leaving it on for now.

And yeah turbo mode = turbo boost essentially.
