The topic title says it all, really. I've acessed my BIOS options and the overclocking options are completely greyed out. My mainboard is an Asus P5N32-E SLI PLUS and I have the Q6600 processor.
Normally with the ASUS M/B if it has an automatic OC feature like {AI Overclock Tuner}, it has to be set to manual to access all the available OCing features.
Do you know how I could do that? I've already a few checked OC guides (from other sites) but haven't found any instructions on this, so I'd appreciate some newbie-help.
Ok, I manged to set it to manual (wasn't that hard after all). There's still an option called 'Overclocking Options' that appears to be greyed out, but I don't think I'll need it.
How much should I increase the FSB speed at for this processor? Or the Core Clock multiplier - those are the things that count, right? I'll probably be downloading a cpu temperature scanner too.
