Hi

So I am just wondering if there a boot order for GPU for bios screen? I have an MSI RTX 2080, Asus Sabertooth X79, but every time it boots to HDMI regardless of what I set as primary screen in windows. Since I don't see an option in the BIOS, is this default by GPU? Obviously is an isnt big deal, but just kinda annoying since I have 3 monitors. See below

DP set as primary in Windows 10.
  1. DP with Acer Predator 1440p monitor + Asus 1080p monitor HDMI + 4k TV HDMI = bios show up in Asus 1080p monitor
  2. DP with Acer Predator 1440p monitor + 4k TV HDMI = bios show up in 4k TV
  3. DP with Acer Predator 1440p monitor only = bios shows up

FYI since RTX only has 1 HDMI, I had to get a DP to HDMI adapter for Asus 1080p

Thanks for the help

I contacted KFA2 about the same thing with my graphics card. My primary monitor is connected via Displayport, and secondary monitor via DVI-D. BIOS boots to secondary monitor first (even if the monitor is powered off at the socket).

Apparently there is an automatic cycle the graphics card runs through for displays. Also bear in mind at this point Windows isn't even loaded so no matter what our Windows settings are they aren't applied. As such I wouldn't be surprised if it's a similar situation for your graphics card.
