BIOS Problem with Richland MSI Board

I recently ordered some new parts for a new computer build. The Motherboard said it had Richland support right out of the box. Recently, some reviews have been popping up that say you need to flash the BIOS for Richland to work. Now MSI still says Richland works right out of the box. These recent reviews say otherwise. I would like to know two things. 1. Will it work? 2. Could I flash the BIOS with no CPU?

It depends on the board manufacture date. If newer than May 2013, it does support the CPU.

You can't flash the BIOS on this board without a supported CPU.
