I have a ASUS CG5275, and I think it has a Asus P7H55-M motherboard, and I bought a Intel Xeon x3470 for it, and I am currently trying to update the bios to make sure the CPU is compatible, but when I got to the Asus site and onto the P7H55-M bios place to update it, all the bios in there aren't compatible. Is there a reason for this or do I have the wrong motherboard?

From what I found that board does not officially support any xeon processors, so I cant say for sure what BIOS or if it will work at all with any BIOS version. There are people who say that CPU works fine in that motherboard, that xeon is basically an i7 860 with no igpu, so any BIOS that supports the i7 860 or newer should support that xeon. However again there is no official support so I cant say for sure.

that motherboard is an lga 1156 , the small socket of intel . one step beyond that are the socket 2011 , v3 , 2066 . Xeon are two steps further , the size of a xeon is equivalent to an AMD threadripper .
