I bought a " AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX " and I need to know if I'm gonna have to update my bios, my mainboard is " MSI 760GM-P34FX Auto overclocking " and my current BIOS version/date is " BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. V17.14, 3/25/2013
" do I need to update it to make it work fine with my new cpu or if not needed please let me know before I even attempt this.

You serous? I was told by 2 tech people it will fit and work fine in my pc :/ i cant have doubts now i already bought it, as long as it works is all i care for..

I really need to know if im screwed... I already bought it and was told I was ok but I just never was told if my bios update is needed or not.. on my mainboard box it said it can support AM3+ sockets with the latest updates.

I have no idea why they removed all support for 125 Watt CPUs, including Phenom IIs. Some people do run FX-8320 and ---- FX-8350 in this board without problem. ----

looks like i found my own answer i guess

You can return the cpu if you want for a FX 8320E.
I would also update the BIOS before installing the new cpu.
